HYUNDAI TUCSON 2026

Fresh spy shots of the next-generation Hyundai Tucson have recently surfaced, offering an early glimpse at Hyundai’s upcoming redesign. The new Tucson is expected to feature major styling and technology changes ahead of its global debut in the second half of 2026, with international sales likely beginning in 2027.

EXTERIOR

Even though the test version is still covered in camouflage, some design details of the new Hyundai Tucson can already be seen. The front uses split headlights with vertical daytime running lights on both sides. There is also a horizontal line between the hood and grille, but it is not yet known if the SUV will have a full-width light bar.

The grille appears to have two sections, with a closed upper part and a lower section using horizontal trim.

Viewed from the side, the next-generation Hyundai Tucson adopts a more rugged overall stance, with styling cues that resemble the recently introduced next-generation Hyundai Bayon. Aerodynamically designed wheels and flush-mounted door handles further enhance the SUV’s modern and streamlined appearance.

Around the back, the new Hyundai Tucson looks more sophisticated thanks to a larger, more sculpted tailgate design. A roof spoiler and fresh taillight graphics add extra visual flair, while relocating the license plate to the rear bumper gives the tailgate a cleaner and more premium appearance.

POWERTRAIN

Under the hood, the new Hyundai Tucson is expected to continue Hyundai’s push toward electrification with both hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. Buyers may be able to choose between 6-speed and 7-speed automatic transmissions, along with front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive layouts. There are even rumors that a hotter Hyundai Tucson N performance model could be in development.

More information should surface as the SUV moves closer to its 2026 debut, and we’ll continue following updates on Hyundai’s next-generation crossover.
