The Xpeng GX officially began accepting pre-orders on April 15, offering customers a choice between a fully electric BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) and an extended-range EREV (Extended-Range Electric Vehicle) variant. Both versions are priced at 399,800 yuan.
In terms of size, the Xpeng GX is a large SUV, measuring 5,265 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,115 mm.
EXTERIOR:
The exterior design follows a modern electric vehicle aesthetic, featuring a closed front grille and sleek, elongated headlights with a distinctive star-ring lighting signature. Along the sides, the vehicle showcases smooth, continuous lines running from front to rear, paired with stylish alloy wheels and flush door handles for improved aerodynamics. Buyers can choose from five exterior colors: Everest White, Polar Black, Fjord Grey, Danxia Red, and Cloud Gold.
INTERIOR:
Inside, the GX adopts a wrap-around cockpit layout centered around a two-spoke steering wheel and a large 17.3-inch floating 3K display. The cabin is equipped with Star Ribbon ambient lighting, as well as premium front seats offering 16-way power adjustment, ventilation, heating, and massage functions. A standout feature is the “Queen’s Co-pilot” seat, designed with a zero-gravity position and integrated seatbelt and airbag systems.
The second row enhances passenger comfort with a fold-down infotainment screen, a compact table, and magnetic mounting points for accessories. Meanwhile, the third-row seats can recline fully to 180 degrees, enabling a completely flat resting position. Interior color options include Dawn White, Forest Mist Purple, and Platinum Brown.
POWERTRAIN:
Under the hood, the Xpeng GX is available in two powertrain configurations. The EREV version uses a 1.5T engine as a generator, producing 110 kW, paired with dual electric motors to deliver a combined output of 210 kW (approximately 282 horsepower). It is equipped with a 63.3 kWh battery, providing a pure electric range of 430 km and a total combined range of up to 1,585 km based on CLTC standards.
The fully electric BEV version offers significantly higher performance, with dual motors producing 270 kW each, for a total output of around 724 horsepower. Its larger 110 kWh battery enables a maximum range of up to 750 km under CLTC testing conditions.
The Xpeng GX is set to make its official public debut at the Beijing Auto Show 2026 in China.
