XIAOMI YU7 GT

The hottest version of the Xiaomi YU7 appears to be getting close to production. The performance-focused GT variant has now been listed in the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Trade’s public database, strongly hinting that an official debut is just months away.

Back in December, Chinese media revealed that Xiaomi was working on a flagship GT version of the Xiaomi YU7. The performance-focused model is expected to join two other major launches in 2026: the stretched Xiaomi SU7 L and the larger three-row Xiaomi YU9. Rumors also point to a new five-seat plug-in hybrid crossover, potentially named the Xiaomi YU8.

The appearance of the Xiaomi YU7 GT in the Chinese Ministry database effectively confirms that the model is nearing production, as such filings typically occur shortly before a market launch.

The standard Xiaomi YU7, which debuted in June, quickly achieved strong sales momentum. By the end of 2025, deliveries had reached 153,673 units, while the closely related Xiaomi SU7 recorded 258,164 units. Altogether, Xiaomi sold 411,837 vehicles during 2025.

The company officially entered the automotive industry in March 2024 and produced its 500,000th electric vehicle in November 2025—a green YU7 crossover.

POWERTRAIN

The strongest current version of the Xiaomi YU7 is the Max model with 690 hp. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.23 seconds and has a top speed of 253 km/h.

The new Xiaomi YU7 GT will be even more powerful. It uses two electric motors with a combined output of 1,003 hp and a top speed of 300 km/h. The 0–60 mph time is expected to be under three seconds.

The GT version also gets sportier styling with a larger front intake, wider side skirts, rear diffuser details, a new spoiler, and special wheels. Different decals and brake caliper colors will also be available.

DIMENSION

The aggressive body kit and lowered suspension help give the Xiaomi YU7 GT a noticeably more purposeful stance. Compared with the standard YU7 models, the GT sits longer, wider, and lower, measuring 5,015 mm long, 2,007 mm wide, and 1,597 mm tall, while retaining the same 3,000 mm wheelbase.

PRICE

In China, the upcoming Xiaomi YU7 GT is expected to carry a starting price of around 450,000 yuan. That places it well above the standard single-motor Xiaomi YU7, which begins at 253,500 yuan, and noticeably higher than the 329,900-yuan dual-motor Xiaomi YU7 Max.
